「能」と「態」の覚え書き「能」・「態」
There are two Chinese characters. Those are “能” and “態”. Let’s research those characters.
“能”’s meaning is working with tenacious power.
“態”’s meaning is “能” with own mind. That is a mental attitude that I can do this.
The Chinese character that means “function”, “performance” and “effect” has “能”. And the Chinese character that means “form” has “態”.
I want to think about correlation of those words.
「能」と「態」、
『漢字源』(学習研究社／藤堂明保)によると、
それぞれ以下のような意味になるようです。
「能」とは、
獣の脂や亀の足のように、
粘り強い力を備えて働くことを、
意味しているとのこと。
また、「態」とは、
それに心が付くことで、
「こうできるぞ」という心構えを、
意味しているとのこと。
機能・性能・効能と、
形態。
その相関性を考えたい。
